We’d be delighted to arrange a guided tour of the gallery with a member of our team, appointments are available upon request.

What We Offer

Photobook Launch

A relaxed social evening event in our upstairs café bar, the perfect setting for launching your photobook or zine. We’ll reserve two tables for your display and signings, creating a welcoming space to connect with your audience.

You’ll have access to a designated area with table space for showcasing your work and an interior screen for presentations or visuals. Plus, we take zero commission on sales, so all proceeds go directly to you.

Gallery Hire

With space for up to 45 seated or 50 standing, our versatile gallery space is ideal for a wide range of events, from photographic exhibitions and workshops to co-working sessions, photobook launches, small conferences, networking events, and private parties.

Available for solo or group exhibitions, installations, or longer shows, the basement gallery features white walls, grey floors, and a flexible open layout.

Designed for photographic exhibitors launching a photobook alongside their exhibition, this option includes use of both the basement gallery and upstairs café bar on the launch evening. It’s the perfect choice for artists presenting new works and a publication together, offering a seamless way to celebrate and share both in one event.

Public Programme

As a CIO, all income from venue hire goes directly towards supporting our academic outreach programmes and ensuring our photobook collection remains free and accessible.

Our spaces are available for photographic exhibitions, photobook launches, workshops, corporate events, and private functions. We also welcome commercial filming and photography.

Over the years, we have hosted events and exhibitions in collaboration with Altered States, Family Portrait, BJP, Dust Off Projects, Offset Projects, Palm Books, Mack, Guest, Void, Aperture, Huck, Open Doors, and Setanta Books.

All events hosted with us become part of our public programme, and we’ll help promote your event across our social media channels and newsletter. We take no commission on book or print sales. We also invite all artists who launch photobooks with us to contribute a copy to our photobook collection, on a donation basis. To learn more about the collection, see here
