Billy Allen and Lilah Culliford of Spread of the Day will be hosting a quick fire one-night-only exhibition at Photobook Cafe on the 19th August with an accompanying newsprint publication sponsored by the great Newspaper Club. 

'We will be creating a newspaper publication to accompany the show, featuring one image from each photographer as a full spread on a tabloid sheet. The publication is designed so that it can be taken apart, with each individual image becoming a poster that can be displayed on the wall.

Before the tabloid sheet is separated, each spread presents one half of a photographer’s image paired with half of another photographer’s image, creating unexpected combinations. Once the sheets are removed and unfolded, the complete images are revealed and can be displayed individually as posters.

The work will be exhibited in this way, as newspaper spreads on the walls.’
